Roizone is a sparkling rosé wine made from Sangiovese, vinified with reduced use of sulfites and re-fermented in the bottle according to the classic method. No synthetic products or oenological additives were used during grape growing, winemaking and sparkling wine making, except for an amount of potassium metabisulfite not exceeding 5g per 100Kg of grapes. Bottom residue and turbidity are indicative of the wine’s naturalness and direct and intended consequences of the sparkling method. Serve at a temperature of 6-8 °C.

The next and almost inevitable step on the road of our love for Sangiovese and its rose declination, Mustiola, was the sparkling of this fragrant and rich wine. We waited almost three years for the first experiments to land on a result that left us excited.
Now we are able to let you taste the first results, completely sparkling in-house with our own hands. Among others Roizone. It is a classic method re-fermented in the bottle, aiming to lower the sugar content as much as possible We are still at the beginning of a path that excites us. We look forward to sharing it with all of you.
The name Roizone is derived from that of one of our ancestors, Roizone Ottieri della Ciaja (990 A.D.).
